Meet Josh Chancey: Agricore’s Founder
Josh Chancey is a third-generation farmer and the owner of Double C Longhorn Cattle Co., where he raises Texas Longhorns and beef cattle with a commitment to quality and tradition.
Raised in Plant City, Florida, Josh grew up working alongside his late grandfather, Ted Chancey, at Chancey Farms, a strawberry farming operation. His early years on the farm instilled in him a deep respect for agriculture and a hands-on understanding of the industry.
As the former owner of Chancey Sod Farms, Josh built a reputation for excellence in farm management and operational expertise.
With decades of experience, he possesses an in-depth knowledge of the agricultural sector’s hiring needs, from executive leadership to equipment operators, enabling him to connect the right talent with the demands of modern farming.
Through his leadership at Double C Longhorn Cattle Co. and his role as President of Agricore, Josh continues to honor his family’s legacy while driving innovation in agriculture.
His passion for all things agriculture, combined with his strategic vision, makes him a trusted figure in the farming community, dedicated to supporting the growth and sustainability of the industry.
